Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2025 · Last Updated: January 1, 2025

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FastBizLaw's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of the site.

2. Description of Services

FastBizLaw provides limited-scope business filing, document preparation, and formation-support services — including LLC and Corporation formation, registered agent service, EIN filing, contract templates, and related business services. Depending on the package selected, services may include attorney review of your filing and/or custom document preparation, along with general formation guidance. Services outside that limited scope — such as tax advice, litigation, immigration advice, securities advice, and complex legal strategy — are not included unless separately agreed in writing. Unless you enter into a separate signed engagement agreement with Robert Goldberg, Esq. defining the scope of representation, our services do not, by themselves, create an attorney-client relationship.

3. Account & Order Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when placing orders. Inaccurate information may result in rejected filings, delays, or additional fees from state agencies. You agree to keep your contact information current and to respond promptly to our communications regarding your filings.

4. Payment Terms

All fees are clearly displayed before checkout. Our service fees are separate from state filing fees, which are set by each state and paid directly to the state on your behalf. Payment is due at the time of order. We do not charge auto-renewing subscriptions unless you opt in to a recurring service (such as Registered Agent).

5. Refund Policy

If we have not yet submitted your filing to the state, we offer a full refund minus any processing work completed. Once a filing has been submitted to the state, state fees are non-refundable as they have been paid to the state. Our service fee refund eligibility depends on the stage of processing. Contact us at Robert@fastbizlaw.com for refund requests.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of FastBizLaw and protected by intellectual property laws. Contract templates purchased through our service are licensed for your business use only and may not be redistributed, resold, or shared publicly.

7. Limitation of Liability

FastBizLaw shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for delays caused by state agencies, incomplete information provided by you, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
